As you are not directly involved in our investment choices, we feel very responsible for the choices we make. So when making these decisions, we take into consideration not only the risk and yield of the investment, but also aspects such as human rights, ethical issues and the environment.

ING does not invest your insurance and pension premiums in companies that produce cluster bombs or anti-personnel landmines. For more information, go to the chapter entitled ‘What does ING stand for’.

ING does not invest your insurance premiums in:

• Cluster bombs and other controversial weapons
• Fur farms

• Animal testing for the cosmetics industry
• Projects in countries such as Burma/Myanmar and Sudan
